Meet Grant
With 23 years of experience as a Certified Rolfer, Grant Ernhart has helped countless individuals navigate their chronic pain. While the Rolfing method proved effective for many, Grant's dedication to his clients led him to seek solutions for those who still struggled. This journey inspired him to delve into the neuroscience of chronic pain, where he gained profound insights into the nervous system's role in persistent pain states.
Inspired by this new knowledge, Grant became a certified Pain Reprocessing Coach. He now combines his 23 years of hands-on expertise with the scientifically proven principles of Pain Reprocessing Therapy. Grant is passionate about empowering clients with the knowledge and tools to overcome chronic pain, helping them to find lasting relief and reclaim their lives.
Why Rhubarb?
Chronic pain can feel like a real puzzle, often perceived as purely physical—like a bruise or injury—but much of it actually stems from neuroplasticity, where our brains adapt and reinforce pain signals over time.
This is a bit like our common misunderstanding of rhubarb, which we often think of as a fruit thanks to its role in sweet desserts like pies, even though it's technically a vegetable! Just as we mistype rhubarb based on its culinary reputation, we can also misread chronic pain as merely a physical issue, missing the crucial part our brains play in how we experience it. Both chronic pain and rhubarb remind us that our perceptions can sometimes lead us astray, inviting us to embrace a more openminded exploration of their true nature and complexities.
